Boy Scouts

For boys age 11-17

Scouting promises the great outdoors. Scouts learn how to camp and hike without leaving a trace and how to take care of the land. Scouts study wildlife up close and learn about nature. There are plenty of skills to master, and opportunity to teach others what is learned.

There are more than 150 awards to be earned as a Boy Scout. Whether it’s a rank advancement, merit badge, or one of the many other individual awards, there is plenty to set sights on.

Boy Scouting is for boys in grades six through twelve, concentrating on character development, physical fitness and citizenship awareness. The fun activities through Scouting build teamwork and social skills and give the opportunity for hands-on experience in making decisions, leadership and community interaction.
